昨天朋友請我幫她翻譯一首英文歌"Trip the Light"的歌詞
因為這首歌google 不到中文歌詞
(僅有一篇在奇摩知識+，但感覺像用網頁翻譯直翻的怪怪的)
其實我來美國也才幾個月，又不是來念書的學生
所以英文也不怎麼好
不過一找Trip the Light，發現是Where the Hell is Matt 的2012年版配樂
看著Where the Hell is Matt 2012，聽著Trip the Light
心裡覺得挺感動的
也很自然地就把歌詞寫了出來
當然啦，有些英文句子，我也不確定這樣翻對不對
歌詞有時為了順口、詩意，實在和原本的句型不太一樣
不過這樣的翻譯是當我看著Matt的影片時，這首歌帶給我的感受
不知道大家是否還記得幾年前在Youtube上爆紅的Matt ?
從最早2005年的Video
一個人在世界各地的旅遊景點
跳著滑稽、不太像舞蹈的舞蹈
一開始看他一個人自得其樂的樣子
還真是覺得在這麼多人的地方這樣搞怪不害羞嗎?
好像有一點點蠢 :P
可是看他一個地方接著一個地方的跳下去
到最後竟然也忍不住從心理會心一笑
感染到一種愉快的心情
或許是這樣，他在Youtube上爆紅後
2008年的Video，他不再是獨舞
每個地方都有成群的民眾歡樂的和他一起跳舞
由於人跟影片紅了，開始有廠商贊助
Matt的影片拍攝地點也更多元化
影片的音樂也從2008年開始自行創作
間隔了接近四年，Matt在2012年才又推出一段影片
他說2008年後，他休息了兩年，結了婚、生了個可愛的小孩
2010又開始旅行準備拍影片
但因為有了小孩，總會三個星期就想回家一趟
所以影片進行的較慢 :)
2012的影片中，Matt不再跳著之前那個怪異的舞蹈
而是在不同的地方跳著各種不同的舞蹈
相同的是，看著他的影片總能讓你有種感動和愉快的心情
影片的最後，是Matt、老婆和小孩一家人團聚向大家謝幕
和Trip the Light 的歌詞意境是不是很接近??
因為Trip the Light正是由Matt 和演唱這首歌的女歌手Alicia Lemke
